Here's something I don't want to admit… but I'm going to go ahead and tell you anyway.
I've started getting back on the scale.
Because I know that knowledge is power, and that weighing yourself every day can be a powerful tool for maintaining a healthy weight.
So, the good news: getting on the scale. Getting real with myself and not hiding from the truth. Yay!
Aaaand… the not-so-good news: I've put on some extra pounds since this whole quarantine thing started.
Now, when I'm on the scale, I don't beat myself up about it, or get overly emotional.
However, I definitely reflect on what has gotten me here, which has been a whole lotta quarantine treats like barbecue Kettle Chips… pizza delivery… and an embarrassing amount of rosé.
Well, that's all about to change. Because I'm ready to deal with the aftermath of quarantine-induced indulging.
